PM + Super Cobalt Minicut Wave End Mills – Inch

Several years ago, Minicut International Inc. developed, patented and introduced the MINICUT roughing end mill to the metalworking industry. Prior to the introduction of the MINICUT™, the scope of development throughout the cutting tool industry had been basically concentrated on different and somewhat better base materials in order to obtain higher levels of productivity. The MINICUT however, presented a new chapter in cutting tool development with a distinct geometric concept applied to the cutting edge. It is this unique geometry which enables the MINICUT to achieve substantially superior machining capabilities over other types of cutters used in machining exotic materials. CYCLONE I  (without coolant holes – Super Cobalt material) and CYCLONE II – (with coolant hole – Super Cobalt material) are a series of MINICUT end mills that are designed to machine titanium and other exotic alloys. The CYCLONE design with a PVD coating specifically designed for exotic materials, achieves remarkable performance when machining titanium alloys. In recent tests conducted in 5553 Beta Forged Titanium in an large aerospace program, the MINICUT CYCLONE achieved unparalleled results. This series of Minicut end mills are specifically designed for machining titanium, stainless steel, inconel and other types of hard metals. The tools unique geometry significantly increases productivity and chip removal rates, especially in deep roughing applications. These tools are made from a very high performance cobalt material combined with a TIalN II (Supreme) PVD coating.
